NI USB-6525 is a bus-powered USB device with 8 normally open solid-state relay outputs, which can switch the voltage of 60 VDC/30 Vrms and the strongest current of 500 mA per channel. The solid state relay output is suitable for controlling pumps, brakes, motors and various other industrial exciters. NI USB-6525 also has 8 channels to read from industrial digital sensors± The characteristics of the isolated digital input between 60 VDC channels. Any digital input channel can be used as a 5 kHz, 32-bit counter to measure digital pulses and measure frequency and pulse width.
Isolation between channels cuts off the ground loop and prevents spikes caused by noise and external signals. Built-in screw terminals and an anti-pressure deformation make the USB-6525 easier to use and reliable.
Industrial function settings
NI industrial digital I/O devices have extremely reliable design features that can automate even the most demanding applications. When connecting pumps, brakes, motors and relays, programmable power-on states ensure safe operation. The electronic I/O watchdog timer can detect computer or application failures and ensure that the system can recover safely. If a digital event occurs, change detection will trigger the application and perform a read operation, thereby minimizing processor utilization. Programmable input filter can eliminate faults/spikes and remove noise.
Driver software
The USB-6525 is used in conjunction with the NI-DAQmx driver software to provide an easy-to-use and intuitive programming interface. NI USB-6525 and NI LabVIEW, NI LabWindows™/CVI, ANSI C/C++, C, Visual Basic .NET and Visual Basic 6.0 are compatible, and can be used in conjunction with the Windows operating system.
