I2S interface adopts HDMI socket output:
1. LVDS differential signal with a level of 3.3V;
2. DSD ON signal, 5V power supply(Small current), The MUTE signal has been processed by the internal CPLD, and there is no need to output the MUTE signal;
3. The DSD ON signal can be defined by itself, and the DSD ON signal can be output to the PIN13, 14, 15, 16 pins of the socket at will.
4. The phases of PIN1-3 and PIN7-9 are adjustable, and the user can configure the phases of these two pairs of outputs through a switch.
Flexible HDMI-I2S output configuration:
SU-1 can configure HDMI-I2S by dialing the code switch. Switches 1-4 correspond to the PIN13-16 pins of the HDMI socket. Pull to ON, It means that the HDMI PIN has the function of DSD_ON.
Switch 5 is to configure the clock output mode. When it is OFF, the clock outputs MCLK, and when it is ON, it outputs WCK.
Switch 6 is to configure the phase of HDMI PIN1-3 and PIN7-9, when it is ON, it is positive phase, and when it is OFF, it is reverse phase.(Note: When it is ON, it can be matched with the decoder of Goshen; when it is OFF, it can be matched with the PS AUDIO.).
If your decoder is from Goshen, pull switch 3 and switch 6 to the ON position, and the others are OFF; if your decoder is PS AUDIO, pull switches 1-4 to the OFF position, switch 6 It is also OFF.
Switch 7 and switch 8 are used as backups and have no effect at present.
The following is mass production Version of the case, this switch is on the back of the case, and it can be configured without opening the case.
All switches are OFF by factory default.
SU-1 can be configured by SW switch to adapt to different I2S standards.
But as far as we know, the HDMI-I2S of each manufacturer is different. For most manufacturers, HDMI-I2S is a proprietary protocol of the manufacturer.
So, I’m sorry, SU-1 can’t adapt to all HDMI-I2S devices, so we don’t accept returns due to the incompatibility of the I2S interface.
However, at present we can give the following HDMI-I2S from different manufacturers. Among the following manufacturers, some of the DACs tested are no problem.
