NI PCI-6224 is a low-cost, multi-function M series data acquisition (DAQ) board, optimized for applications that need to control costs. You can also consider high-speed M-series devices with 5 times the sampling rate or high-precision M-series devices with 4 times the resolution and superior measurement accuracy.
The low-cost M-series devices include features such as NI-STC 2 system controller, NI-PGIA 2 programmable amplifier and NI-MCal calibration technology to improve performance and accuracy. Driver software
M series devices can be used on a variety of operating systems, and there are three driver software to choose from, including NI-DAQmx, NI-DAQmx Base and measurement hardware DDK. Each M Series data acquisition device includes a copy of NI LabVIEW SignalExpress, allowing you to quickly acquire, analyze, and display data without programming. In addition to LabVIEW SignalExpress, M series data acquisition devices are also compatible with the following NI application software versions(Or higher)compatible——LabVIEW 7.x, LabWindows™/CVI 7.x, or Measurement Studio 7.x; or LabVIEW with LabVIEW real-time module 7.1. NI M series data acquisition devices are also compatible with Visual Studio .NET, C/C++ and Visual Basic 6.
